Ocean City, NJ! Happy Birthday Nat!

What a fun way to spend a beautiful summer day! Today a bunch of friends gathered to celebrate my good friend Natalie Buchkovich's birthday! And she is a whopping 23 today! Watch out, she's gettin' up there! So to celebrate, we went to Ocean City, NJ. It takes about an hour and a half to get out there, so the trip is definitely worth it. I have been to the beaches on the Pacific and the Gulf Coast, but never in the Atlantic. It was so packed! It felt we were entering a scene of a movie. There were fun little shops, like the kind you may see in Chinatown, only All-American, for miles. I really haven't ever experienced anything like it. We had a great time! Happy Birthday Natalie!

This is the view from the top of the ferris wheel we went on. It just shows how packed the beach was. And it had died down at this point!


Alyssa, Mason, and Yamani were teaching Bryan how to build sandcastles. They even built a moat.

So I am guilty of giving Bryan a hard time about getting me unwanted or unnecessary gifts over the years....poor guy. But I should have known he was just waiting for an opportunity to really give me big surprise. And I was surprised. I have to brag a little bit because he worked so hard. He was very nervous if it would be the right thing or not. This comes from my attitude over the years, and a little anxiousness that he gets from his mothers side of the family. He got me the video iPod. I think he got every person's opinion he could to make sure I would like it. iPod or not, Bryan has always spoiled me......and Bryan when I seem ungrateful, it's because you spoil me too much! Thanks for a great birthday! I love you bud!

Hey guys, so get a good look, cause this smile won't last long.....I'm gonna' get a new tooth! Tomorrow I see the dentist to talk about my treatment plan. I only have to wait 6 months for a permanent one, but something temporary will fill my window in no time at all! It's been a great laugh!!

Happy Birhtday U.S. of A!! and Brad Molen

Today is a great day to celebrate! I love this country! I missed my family a lot today. There are so many family traditions that we share and we were fortunate to have been able to share it with wonderful friends! Bryan and I had BBQ and had some families here at our place. I made sure to make Dorothy's (my mother-in-law) famous strawberry jell-o salad! It is always a big hit, but I don't make it as good as she does! She could make it with her eyes closed! :o) After our BBQ we drove down to see a fireworks show. We had the perfect parking spot and one of the best seats in the neighborhood. So it should have been perfect, well it started to drizzle, and then rain, and then POUR!!! So, it was not the best firework show after all, it was postponed. However, Alyssa had the biggest and best puddles to splash in EVER! So it was worth it after all! What a way to end a fun day......with a splash! Thanks to our friends who made this day a memorable one! And Happy Birthday to Brad Molen today!

The Woo Tang

Alyssa learned from Yasmine and Yamani what the "Woo-tang" is. She loves to mimic much of what they do. So here is the woo tang with hips shakin' and fingers snapin'. We had a great laugh!
